Firms designated as Founding Members had joined SIPAC by the time of the first anniversary of the founding of the platform. To date, SIPAC has enjoyed a 100% renewal rate on the part of continuing members.
In addition to the jurisdictions listed above which are covered by SIPAC exclusive members, several SIPAC member firms provide secondary coverage in many neighboring jurisdictions, bringing SIPAC’s direct and indirect coverage through its member firms to well more than 50 jurisdictions. Further geographical coverage is achieved through relationships with friends of SIPAC across all regions of the world.
Regarding the addition of SSW and PRK Partners as new member firms, SIPAC CEO Liming Yang commented as follows:
“We are delighted to welcome SSW and PRK Partners as full SIPAC member firms. Both firms joined as observers during our successful CEE/SEE Focus of the SIPAC 2025 China Roadshows in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, and their decision to formally join the SIPAC network is a testament to the growing importance of the China market in their regional strategies. Their addition not only strengthens SIPAC’s presence in Central and Eastern Europe, but also further enhances our ability to support Chinese legal teams with high-quality, responsive counsel in these key jurisdictions. We look forward to working closely with both firms to build deeper connections between the CEE legal markets and the broader Sino-global legal community.”
About SIPAC:
SIPAC’s mission is to bring together the Sino-Global legal communities through closer cooperation. To date, thousands of Chinese in-house and law firm lawyers have accessed international know-how content and participated in international training, webinars and live events, through which they have been able to engage directly with SIPAC members and friends around the world.
From the end of November 2024 to the present, the SIPAC team in China has received more than 300 requests from Chinese in-house and law firm lawyers for referrals to top independent law firms in more than 100 jurisdictions. Most of these referral requests have been generated through SIPAC’s Sino-Global Legal Community WeChat account, and in most cases, the SIPAC team is able to make the introduction within 5-10 minutes of the request. In addition to the foregoing, many more direct contacts are made independently by Chinese legal professionals to SIPAC member firms to which they have been introduced by through the SIPAC ecosystem.
A senior partner of a leading China Red Circle firm observed:
“SIPAC provides an exceptional platform for Chinese lawyers (from both In-House departments and Red Circle law firms) to connect with their counterparts from around the globe.”
