ATCO | SIPAC Ecosystem | International M&A Training Resources
In his latest vlog, Robert Lewis, Chairman of the Sino-International Professionals Advisory Company (SIPAC), continues the discussion on “涉外法治建设” (the development of China’s international legal infrastructure) by introducing the training content related to outbound M&A transactions. Picking up from last week’s episode where templates and know-how for share purchase agreements in outbound M&A deals were covered, Mr. Lewis emphasizes that managing these cross-border transactions is a critical component of “涉外法治建设”. Chinese law firms are increasingly taking the lead role as transaction counsel, while in-house legal teams also require expertise in this area. To build this expertise, SIPAC provides comprehensive training integrated with their know-how database.
As an example, Mr. Lewis presents a clip from an interview with Suhail Mirza, a leading M&A lawyer from the renowned Middle East firm Al Tamimi & Company. This expert interview covers specific nuances in M&A deals that will be incorporated into SIPAC’s knowledge resources. Lewis highlights how SIPAC’s training aligns with their know-how materials, live events like M&A master classes, the annual Sino-International Law Forum, and on-call legal support services – creating a full-fledged ecosystem for outbound M&A expertise.
