Working with Chinese clients
Khaitan & Co has a China Desk serving Chinese companies doing business in India. In 2025 the firm represented Husky Group entities, including Husky Injection Molding Systems (Shanghai), in an Indian anti-dumping investigation that ended with a nil duty rate on the relevant exports from China. As SIPAC's member for India, it is a point of contact for Chinese companies on investment, regulatory and dispute matters, including the foreign investment rules that apply to investors from neighbouring countries.
