1. Fees and what they include
Fees are in US dollars, per delegate, and cover the full three-city Forum: the Forum sessions in Beijing (April 20), Shanghai (April 22) and Shenzhen (April 24), 2027; one networking lunch and one evening reception in each city; on the Beijing → Shanghai and Shanghai → Shenzhen travel days, SIPAC-arranged coach transfers for delegates travelling on the SIPAC-designated flight or train, from the Forum venue to the departure airport or station and from the arrival airport or station to delegate hotels; and SIPAC-arranged car transport for SIPAC-organized law firm visits, where scheduled.
Delegates book and pay for their own flights and trains, and are free to travel on other services, in which case they arrange their own transfers. Fees do not include domestic or international flights or train travel, hotel accommodation, optional Beijing tours, visa costs, or any other service or expense not listed above.
Delegates who plan to attend only part of the Forum should contact SIPAC at events@sipac-network.com before registering. No reduction is given for sessions, meals, transfers or visits not used.
2. Rates and eligibility
Member rates apply to partners, lawyers and staff of SIPAC member firms in good standing. Non-member registration is not available for law firms based in jurisdictions where SIPAC already has a member firm. The additional-delegate rate applies to each colleague from the same member firm after the first delegate has registered. SIPAC confirms membership before invoicing and will re-invoice at the correct rate if the category selected does not apply.
Early-bird rates apply to registrations submitted by January 31, 2027 and paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Registrations submitted from February 1, 2027 are charged at the standard rate.
3. Invoicing and payment
SIPAC issues an invoice in US dollars, from its Hong Kong entity, within 5 business days of registration. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, and in any case before April 9, 2027. Registrations submitted from April 1, 2027 are payable on receipt of the invoice. Payment is by bank transfer in US dollars or by credit card through the payment link on the invoice, which carries a 2.5% card processing surcharge. The sender pays all bank charges, so that SIPAC receives the full invoiced amount. A place is confirmed when payment is received. SIPAC may release unpaid registrations after the due date.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations must be sent in writing to events@sipac-network.com and take effect when SIPAC acknowledges them by email.
- Received by February 28, 2027: full refund less a USD 100 administration fee per delegate.
- Received from March 1 to March 31, 2027: refund of 60% of the registration fee.
- Received from April 1, 2027, or no-show: no refund.
If fees have not been paid when a registration is cancelled, the charge above is invoiced and payable (no charge for cancellations received by February 28, 2027). Refunds are paid to the original payer within 30 days, in US dollars, by the original payment method, net of bank charges and card surcharges.
5. Substitutions and changes
A registered delegate who cannot attend may be replaced by a colleague from the same organization at no charge. Requests must be sent in writing by April 13, 2027. Later requests are accepted at SIPAC’s discretion. A member-rate place can only be transferred to a colleague from the same member firm. Changes to attendance, dietary requirements and badge names are also accepted until April 13, 2027. Visa invitation letters are personal and cannot be transferred.
6. Visas
Each delegate is responsible for meeting China’s entry requirements. SIPAC will issue a visa invitation letter on request received by March 12, 2027, once payment has been received. An invitation letter does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. If a visa application is refused, SIPAC will refund the registration fee less the USD 100 administration fee, provided a copy of the official refusal is received by April 9, 2027.
7. Optional activities
Registering interest in the optional Beijing tours or law firm visits does not reserve a place or create a charge. Beijing tours are priced separately and invoiced separately when confirmed, under their own booking terms. Law firm visits depend on host confirmation and capacity. No refund or credit is given if a visit does not take place.
8. Program changes and event cancellation
SIPAC may change the program, speakers, venues or timings where necessary. These changes do not entitle a delegate to a refund. If SIPAC cancels SILF 2027 in full, registration fees are refunded in full. If a city Forum is cancelled and not replaced, SIPAC refunds one third of the registration fee for that city. SIPAC is not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by delegates, and recommends that delegates buy travel insurance.
9. Photography and personal data
SILF 2027 will be photographed and filmed, and images may be used in SIPAC reports and promotion. Delegates who do not wish to appear should tell the registration desk or email the SIPAC events team. Personal data is handled according to the SIPAC privacy notice and is shared with venues, transport providers, hotels and law firm visit hosts only as needed to deliver the Forum. A delegate list showing each delegate’s name, position, organization and country/region only is shared with other registered participants to help delegates connect. Email addresses are never included. Delegates who prefer not to be listed can tell the SIPAC events team.
10. Times
All deadlines end at 23:59 China Standard Time (UTC+8) on the date shown.
