SIPAC Announces Strategic Cooperation with the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA)
SIPAC has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA). The SCCA, who have over 300,000 companies in their reach in Shanghai alone, join SIPAC’s growing list of channel partners as a key member.
SIPAC Chairman & Co-Founder Robert Lewis shines a light on how the partnership came to fruition: “When I met with the President Xiong of the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association, which is the largest such association in China, with thousands of member companies, he said that in their internal meetings just that day, they had mentioned that they saw a critical need on the part of their member companies – and the law firms that also participate in their programs – for a global law firm network to serve the outbound trade/investment and compliance legal requirements of Chinese companies, but they didn’t know how to go about setting it up. I was very pleased to tell him that we already had this underway, and now we have formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the SCCA and are moving forward with a broad range of joint activities.”
SIPAC CEO & Co-Founder further commented on the impact of this development: “The SCCA’s support significantly amplifies our potential reach across the Yangtze River Delta region. We are excited to work hand-in-glove with President Xiong and the SCCA to deliver outstanding knowledge management programmes across their broad community. Our Chairman Robert Lewis’ has been dedicated to raising the standards of legal work in China for decades. This partnership takes our network one big step closer to turning our Chairman’s vision into a reality.”
